OK ladies, you definitely want to be on the look out for fringe in the coming months. This is not a new style as fringe has been around for a very long time. Fringe was very popular during two eras in particular, the 1920s and the 1970s. It seemed to be a symbol of independence. During the 20s, rebellious flappers often wore fringed dresses and in the 70s, the younger defiant generation also wore fringe trimmed clothing. The shredded spaghetti trim has always adored boots, jeans, shoes, purses, etc. But Sandals? Yes, Its not just seen at your local rodeo or line dancing event. Fringe is now seen adorning some of the finest heels and sandals. What is beneficial is you don't have to wait until the temperature drops to break out your boots and jacket to wear fringe. You get to show of your french pedicure during the hot summer months and still wear the fringe look. Its no longer about the sued boots or leather jacket with the under arm fringe. Put on that sun dress and a pair of fringe sandals and look ever so hot! Now, I'm not too particular about fringe gladiators, but who is to say they wont look great on the next chick. My point is fringe is out there and now looks great for any season.
