Contemporary's biggest names are continuing to grace casuals with body art-inspired prints, spatters and sponge paint. While these bright looks may undergo questioning by the keep-it-solid set, the majority of these pieces can be worn naturally, sans the risk of looking like a Picasso. Inside, read about the different ways to make them work for you.

Major tattoo tribute is given by Christian Audigier's Ed Hardy line of All-American and overseas inspired designs of classic tattoo art like skull heads, roses, bleeding hearts to bald eagles. The "Indian Rose" and Geysha girl printed tanks and lounge pants are artisinal wonders, as are the solid leggings with tiger head screen print: Comfy, basic shapes that are wearable works of art due to high-color illustration, given n_5651998.jpgames like "Battle", "Love Slowly" and "Kiss of Death". The womens' line consists of great-fitting dip-dyed tees, all over print tanks and everything else from trucker caps to bikinis and even thong underwear. The mens' collection features back-printed jeans and rocked-out double tees that give the illusion of elbow-to-wrist tattoos. Other merchandise includes board shorts, hats and sunglasses. Unlike the permanent art, these designs are very easy to take off.

The most coveted jeans labels are using pop-art printed and handmade paint designs to decorate their most popular fits. True Religion's straight leg 'Billy' jean features their famous horseshoe pocket in gold or silver foil screen printed paint, adding flair to a laid-back classic (a non-foil variation is offered in kids' Bobby jean). 7 For All Mankind features their ultra-famous 'A' pocket in a classic medium blue wash, with hand made paint spatters throughout the entire jean for a special artistic effect. Always famous for adventurous denim, D&G offers a mens' Magic Resin jean hand-painted in white splatter. These are all great ways to take part in the trend while1752_close.jpg sporting a great-fitting cut that, well, you love to wear anyway.

Pair these with a comfy sweater or simple, solid-color tank, even a button-down blouse or blazer, to balance out. For attention-grabbing tactics, try more than one all-over tattoo or paint pieces: graphic hoodies with screen-printed lounge pants, painted jeans with an extra-long or layered spray-paint tank. Creativity breeds fun.

I saw those painted Sevens already in the stores! I think you gave some good advice on how to wear them.
