This pregnancy has NOT been easy for me. In fact it's been downright MISERABLE. Due to cervical incompetence, I've been on bed rest since week 23 (I'm now week 37). For those who've been through this, you know the torture. But for those who don't, being on mandatory doctor-ordered bed rest means your life comes to a full stop.

When the doctor told me I'd have to stop working, I was ELATED. Not only did I hate my job and the people I worked with, but also it had been almost two years since I took a real vacation. I figured: what the heck, I'll put my feet up on the sofa, watch "Secret Life", eat Klondike bars and rest- it would be a vacation in my own home.

However, after three weeks of bed rest, I began to go crazy. Let me tell you EXACTLY what it means to be on bed rest. It means your life halts. No more walking, no more cooking, no cleaning, no long showers, no more SEX. That's right, you read that last one correctly: NO MORE SEX. And when you couple that with the typical "Pregnancy No-No's": no more eating at buffets or on outdoor grills (read BBQs), you realize the torture I've been enduring.

I get in constant battles with people about my job and me. There are many assumptions about my personality and me. Which makes dating a whole other story to figure out. I get bombarded with questions when people find out what I do, especially guys. Dating in my position isn't always easy.

First thing, I don't have sex with everyone I meet and I'm not having sex all day every day. I'm not a slut and sleep around. Does a wrestler wrestle every person they meet, no they do not. People assume that I will have sex with anyone, which is not the case at all. I do have standards people and I'm selective abut who I sleep with. Yes believe me I do love sex but I'm not going to go out searching for it just because. I also don't have sex all day long. People always ask me if I get tired from all the sex. I'm thinking "what sex?" I don't even have time to always have sex with myself because I'm so busy lately. I wish I was having it all day and a lot with a special someone but until then it's not really much.

What does it actually mean to be a virgin anymore? The actual definition is someone who has not had sexual intercourse. But does that really define what being a virgin is anymore. Is it like marriage where over the years and with the changing times the terms and qualities have changed with society? Is virginity really what it used to be? I don't think it's so black and white anymore.

I still remember the day that I lost my virginity, because I was penetrated with a penis. When I was younger that was my understanding of no longer being a virgin. Didn't matter everything else that I did in terms of sexual things, until that penis was in me I was still safe. But I now feel the lines have been blurred. Who is to say all the other sexual things I did didn't qualify me losing my virginity.

When it comes to men and their lady's sex toys, they aren't always ready to jump on board right away. You don't know how many times at work I have heard men say they won't be needed anymore. Sometime they even get scared or turned off by the thought of sex toys. But that shouldn't be the case and there are things you can to try and change that. I love using my toys with guys that I'm with. They can add a whole new outlook and feeling to sex.

First of all reassure them that toys can never replace them. I stand by that statement 100%. Nothing can replace that closeness you have with them. The feeling of their body on yours, the whole sexual experience. And I don't care how life like something feels, nothing is better then the feeling of a man's penis deep inside you. Sure toys can sometimes give you more powerful orgasms, but we don't need to tell them that. As much as I love my toys I love men more. There will never become a time when I would rather a toy then a man. Thankfully not all men are scared of toys thank god!
