Beautiful, Bright & Bubbly, there's more to Jennifer Toof than meets the eye. A lot more!

Sometimes the path to reach one's goal is not a well-paved yellow brick road. Sometimes its filled with twists and turns, bumps and an occasional re-route. Having worked on an international indie film, followed by three highly popular reality-TV appearances: Flavor of Love (season 2), Charm School and I Love Money, as well as the much publicized "Toastee Sex Tape" (that we understand now has Jennifer suing the pants off Vivid!), one would conclude that Jennifer was working on being the next Hollywood Vixen. But that is far from the truth.

Having graduated from Northeastern University and pursuing additional education at Harvard, Miss Toof has her sights set on something a lot less celluloid and much more noble. But then you're going to have to read the interview to find out what it is.

We caught up with Jennifer, via Facebook and chatted with her about current projects, life during & after Flavor of Love, her charity work and why she prefers bad boys!

Enjoy.

Six Questions

1. Club DD: What's this we hear about you going to Mexico for a TV Pilot? What's the show about? What part will you be playing?

Jennifer: I've had a lot of acting opportunities come my way since being on reality TV. I've decided that I'm going to keep an open mind and see what might come of all this while the opportunites are there and while I'm still young. Before Flavor of Love, I worked on a short independent film which won awards at the Barcelona Film Festival. I kept in touch with the director and he wants to use me again for another short film to shoot later this year as well as the pilot for a TV drama series. I would be playing the female lead and the pilot will be shot in Mexico. I don't have whole lot of information I can give right now about it, because everything is still up in the air and production dates keep switching around, but I'm really excited about the project. The character I'd be playing is really deep and I love dramatic, psychological thrillers.

2. Club DD: What made you try out for Flavor of Love? Was it mostly for publicity or did you really have a thing for Flav?

Jennifer: I was in my senior year of college at Northeastern University when I tried out for Flavor of Love. At the time, I owned a small modeling agency so I was always hearing about different casting calls. When I saw that they were casting for Flavor of Love 2, I thought I'd make a cute, funny audition tape just for kicks. I never thought I'd actually be picked for the show. I had watched the first season of the show and thought it was trash TV at its finest; I was always laughing at how ridiculous the people on the show were! I guess they liked my tape and thought I'd fit right in, because I was called to meet with the casting director in person in New York, and soon after I was on the show! I thought that being on reality TV would be a once-in-a-lifetime experience, which it was, and I couldn't turn down the offer because I knew I'd regret it. I had no interest in winning Flav's heart, and neither did most of the other girls on the show. That might sound wrong but it's the truth and the "reality" of most reality dating shows. Even Flav knew that this was a hit TV show first and foremost. I didn't want to win and I would not have let myself make it very far into the show, since I wouldn't have been able to fake any true connection with him and I wouldn't have done anything physical with him. I didn't go on the show to jump start any kind of career, even though I knew it would open doors and afford me with some really great and unique opportunities. The reason I went on the show was simply because it sounded like a great experience.

3. Club DD: Since Flavor of Love, what have you been up to?

Jennifer: After Flavor of Love 2, I was really upset and embarrassed at the way I was portrayed on the show. I came across as the "drunk porn star". However, everything happens for a reason. That is, if I had not made some kind of lasting impression, good or bad, I would not have been brought back to do more shows. I was on Charm School and I Love Money. Both of these shows gave me a chance to change my TV image and show viewers more of the real me. I made it really far on I Love Money, and it was one of the most fun, rewarding experiences of my life. I'm really happy with the way I was portrayed on that show because my fans got to see a lot more of me and my personality.

My main ambition for the future is to become a psychiatrist. I needed to take time off from school to do the shows and to explore other opportunities, but I'm still focused on my goal. I've been taking graduate courses online through Harvard's distance education program. People don't realize that there is another whole side to me that isn't shown on TV: I'm actually very smart! I'm very interested in psychology and psychopharmacology. My father is a doctor of internal medicine, and he inspires me to keep going and get my medical degree. I also take classes at a local hospital.

The shows have opened doors, like I mentioned earlier, as far as modeling and acting offers and the chance to travel and meet new people as I do appearances all over the country. I'm very involved with the charity RAINN (
www.rainn.org), and being in the public eye has allowed me to do more within the charity. I sell autographed photos for $5 each and the proceeds go to RAINN, as do profits from show memorabilia that I have sold (such as the Gold team shirt I wore on I Love Money). If anyone would like to receive an autographed photo from me, they can send $5 or however much they would like to donate to:

4. Club DD: When you're not working on your acting career, what do you enjoy doing?

Jennifer: As I mentioned above, I don't consider myself to be working on any kind of "acting career". Acting is just a pastime. It's something I'm relatively new to, but it's a lot of fun and I'd like to see where it takes me. Modeling is also a big passion of mine, but I've been doing that since childhood. I'm actually restarting my agency in Philadelphia so that I can help find safe, enjoyable, and profitable modeling work for new female models.

I spend most of my free time with family and friends. I have a new puppy who is an adorable chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, and I treat him like he's my baby. He's adorable but he can be quite a handful! I love to travel, so I'm always flying one place or another- wherever the party's at! My other hobbies include working out--gymnastics/cheerleading, dancing, tennis, swimming, horseback riding. My two favorite buildings to be in are malls (what girl doesn't love to shop?) and casinos. I'm really big into Texas Hold 'Em. In the end of March, I'll be at a celebrity charity poker tournament in Palm Springs, CA alongside some very well-known names.

5. Club DD: What type of men are most appealing to you?

Jennifer: I've always had a thing for bad boys! A guy definitely needs to treat me like a princess, since I'm a very giving person and I'll treat him like a prince, but he needs to be both book smart and street smart and be able to protect me. He has to be confident and secure with himself; he can't be the type of guy who gets jealous easily because I am in the public eye and it's practically in my job description when appearing at clubs that I have to talk to guys who may be hitting on me. He has to have a good sense of humor and be going somewhere with his life. He needs to take good care of himself so I know he can take good care of me too. He also needs to be a good dresser with a good sense of style.

6. Club DD: Where do you see yourself ultimately?

Jennifer: Like I said, I'm going to keep checking out the modeling/acting opportunities that come my way. I would definitely do another reality show if the premise is appealing to me, like another I Love Money show. It'd also be great to have my own show, but everybody wants their own show now! In the future though, I want to be a successful psychiatrist. I want to get married and have kids and live in a big beautiful house. It's most important that I'm happy and healthy wherever I am.

~I'd also like to add finally that fans can contact me through Facebook under "Jennifer Toof". I am not on Myspace. Any Myspace profile you find claiming to be me is a fake! ~
